Growing Up on the job site with a father who was in the log home business really teaches you a lot about the trade of building and managing a log home business. I could easily say it’s in our blood.

My name is Jeff Elliott and my brothers and I have been involved in the log home business since we were young boys. We even helped build the family log home that we lived in much of our childhood.

When we were young teens my brother Jim and I spent every afternoon and summers working on the job site. By the age of 18 I worked sales and assumed the role of general manager in the office while Jim continued work on the job site. The added responsibility did not keep me off the job site. In those days we began running more than one work crew and I pitched in when needed.

In 1993 the company my family sold homes for closed their doors. My dad decided to retire but at age 27 I had more dreams to realize. One of which was to produce the best and most complete log home package. So I started my own log home business and Coventry Log Homes was established. During the first years in business I handled sales and the office

including payroll, drafted new designs, manufactured pre-cut logs, and I established working relationships with quality vendors for doors and windows and other necessary items. At this time my brother Mark became involved in the day to day management of CLH. We kept Jim busy building CLHs until the demand became too great. That is when a builders list became available.

Jim was in high demand and has actually built many different manufacturerd packages. He learned that CLH packages in comparison were a much better system.

Now that I have realized my dream of producing quality log home packages which is evidenced by our current standing as a leader in the log home industry. My brothers and I would like to set our sights on creating your dream home from start to finish.
